This milestone weekend will be filled with enriching activities, including a sisterhood fellowship, an elegant Anniversary Soiree, a nostalgic Black Alumni Event, and an inspiring sisterhood & scholarship brunch. MY SISTERS KEEPER ASSISTANCE FUND

This assistance fund is designed to help our sisters experiencing financial hardship attend the 50th celebration. Donors are invited to contribute a minimum of $25, with the option to donate any additional amount. Sisters in need of assistance are encouraged to email legendarylambdpi50@gmail.com with their request. Each request will be evaluated, and funds will be equitably distributed based on availability as of October 1. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

• Registration will open on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
• Registration will close on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 11:59 PM EDT.
• All registration payments will be processed online via credit or debit card. This is the only method of payment, please do not mail in cashier's checks, money orders or personal checks to the chapter.
• During check out, members will have the option to pay with Affirm, a buy now pay later payment service
• Transfers must be arranged between members. Once the member transferring their registration confirms the transfer, they should email legendarylambdapi50@gmail.com with the buyer's information. Include the buyer's name, email address, phone number, and membership number, if available. Transfers must be completed by October 1.

TRANSFER POLICY

Transfers must be arranged between members. Once the soror transferring their registration confirms the transfer, they should email legendarylambdapi50@gmail.com with the buyer's information. Include the buyer's name, email address, phone number and membership number, if available.

CANCELLATION POLICY 

Before canceling your registration, we strongly encourage you to attempt a transfer of your package or tickets. Otherwise, we will strictly adhere to the cancellation and refund policy as outlined below:

FULL (100%) refunds will be issued for cancellations before July 1

PARTIAL (50%) refunds will be issued for cancellations between July 1 - September 1

NO (0%) refunds will be issued after September 1

50TH ANNIVERSARY SAVINGS STRATEGY

We prioritize examining costs closely to keep this event affordable. We understand that times are hard, but with a good savings strategy and discipline, you can attend and be fully immersed in the experience of the weekend. We've provided some tips for successful savings and a breakdown of how you can save monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly to meet the $300 registration fee between the time registration opens and closes.

Savings Breakdown

• Monthly: Save $75 each month from June to September.
• Bi-weekly: Save $37.50 every two weeks from June 1 to October 1.
• Weekly: Save $16.67 for 18 weeks from June 1 to October 1.

Tips for Successful Saving

• Register Early: take advantage of the early bird special and save $50
• Automate Savings: Set up automatic transfers from your checking to your savings account on your chosen schedule (monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly).
• Cut Back on Extras: Identify areas where you can reduce discretionary spending, like dining out or entertainment, and redirect those funds to your savings.
• Use a Savings Jar: Physically put aside cash each week if you prefer a tangible method of saving.
• Track Your Progress: Keep a visual tracker or use a savings app to monitor your progress and stay motivated.
